WHO WE ARE
Africa Press is a fully independent publisher based in Cape Town, South Africa. We focus on unexplored narratives from southern Africa – material that’s been overlooked, has been hidden away in archives or is simply unknown. Our publications are inspired by dynamic African contexts whose significance globally is more than just a celebration of ‘local is best’. Subject matter includes antiques, architecture, business, cookery, craft, design, fine art, flora and fauna, gardens, hospitality, interior design, historic interiors, community histories and travel.
WHAT WE DO
Africa Press generates its own illustrated and non-illustrated books. We also generate bespoke publications (books and magazines) that tell a client’s own brand story (in English or Afrikaans) and generate print and digital collateral across multiple functional areas to support a client’s brand (catalogues, brochures, web, digital, and video). Our editorial support team includes copy editors, proof readers and researchers.
